2. Platform Services
IQ Pathshala provides:
- Online and in-person tutoring services connecting students with expert tutors
- Free NCERT study materials linked from the official government portal
- AI-powered tutoring via Google Gemini API integration
- Course guidance for international curricula (IB, Cambridge, A-Levels, AP, SAT, etc.)
- Real-time tutor matching and dispatch (similar to ride-hailing platforms)
3. Student Obligations
- Provide accurate enrollment information
- Attend booked sessions on time or cancel with at least 2 hours' notice
- Treat tutors with respect in all interactions
- Not record sessions without the tutor's explicit consent
- Pay for sessions as agreed — no chargebacks without prior dispute resolution
4. Tutor Obligations
- Provide accurate qualifications and experience information
- Maintain professional standards in all student interactions
- Accept or decline student requests within the stated timeframe
- Not solicit students to bypass the platform
- IQ Pathshala charges a 15% platform fee on all sessions arranged through the platform
5. Payments & Refunds
Cancellations: Students may cancel up to 2 hours before a session for a full refund. Late cancellations may incur a 50% charge.
No-shows: If a tutor does not attend a confirmed session, students receive a full refund and priority rebooking.
Quality guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with your first session, contact us within 24 hours for a free replacement session.
6. Intellectual Property
All original content on this Platform — including the website design, branding, and code — is owned by IQ Pathshala. NCERT materials are the property of the Government of India and are linked, not reproduced. The Gemini AI is a product of Google LLC.
7. Limitation of Liability
IQ Pathshala is a marketplace connecting students and tutors. We are not liable for the specific academic outcomes of any student, or for the conduct of individual tutors beyond our reasonable screening process. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific session in dispute.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. For international users, we endeavour to resolve disputes amicably before escalation.
